My friends and I always enjoy shooting with Henry Baskerville. To appreciate his teaching, you have to experience it. We sometime go with a group, with multiples the fun. We always have a blast !!

I just returned from a session with Henry Baskerville who runs Cavalier. Located west of Richmond, this facility is worth a visit if you like to shoot. The main field has 20 traps which can throw any possible height, speed, or combinations. This can be done as an individual or group lesson, or simply an outing. Henry is a great instructor and will help the best shots or beginners. He has a great sense of humor and makes it most enjoyable. Try it-you’ll have a ball. Take the kids and introduce them to shooting, and gun safety at the same time.

My wife and I have had two lessons with Henry Baskerville, one with friends and the other by ourselves. Both instances were great fun and highly instructive. We would definitely recommend Henry and Cavalier to anyone who is looking to improve their shooting or simply have a good time outside.

Henry is a very entertaining person with tons of knowledge in the shooting sports ranging from sporting clays to rifles and anything that goes boom in between. If your in the central VA area he is a must for anyone that wants to improve their shots or just have fun with a group of friends. Give your a treat and go see Henry and his fantastic staff!

Took two friends visiting from out of town to Cavalier Sporting Clays. Neither had ever shot a shotgun previously. Henry Baskerville provided excellent instruction and my friends were quickly crushing clay targets. We spent two hours and all had a ball. They still talk about this experience. Henry provided the shotguns, ammunition, safety glasses and hearing protection. He is a very experienced and gifted instructor with a great sense of humor. Henry is particularly good with students having little or no previous firearms experience.

Cavalier offers about 20 different traps and can provide challenging shooting opportunities for all skill levels. I would recommend bringing a pair of sunglasses, ball cap and a camera.

Some of the best fun I have ever had since I moved to Richmond since I came here after college. Really talented instructors who can take people at literally any skill level and move them forward very quickly. I have taken a few friends and corporate groups here and they were are very impressed. Definitely a Metro-Richmond gem. Henry Baskerville is fantastic!

Great way to enjoy a lot of outdoor activities, in a beautiful setting. Also very close to home. Especially if you don’t want to travel far.

I have had only 1 shooting instructor as good as Henry and that guy owns similar place in Vieques. So, Henry is the choice for North America. Regardless of your current level of skill, Henry will get you to the next level. He has the most amazing ability to get inside your head figure out what your barriers are to shooting better. I have been twice and hope to join the club there.

Shot at Cavalier Sporting Clays with my wife for the first time today. Henry Baskerville have us a tour of the club and helped my wife to break her first clays ever ! Henry and Doug treated us like they’ve known us all of our lives , they were fantastic ! I would recommend Cavalier Sporting clays to anyone looking for a pleasant relaxed place to shoot where everyone treats you like an old friend . Five stars all the way if you ask me !

I am not a stranger to sporting clays as I shoot about 4x year and absolutely love it. I came here this past weekend with my Father and uncle (father of the bride) for my cousin’s soon to be husband pre-wedding “stress reliever”. I did the same the morning of my wedding about 1.5 years ago as well, but not at this location (lula, GA). This was one of the best experiences I have had in sporting clays. Henry (owner) Dennis (professional shooter that will give you exact advice on how to correct your shot based on your last) and Doug (controls the 23+ bird stations) were ALL hilarious and kept the whole 15+ groups on our toes. Their dedication to safety is unmatched but their commentary and the ability to make a shooter that is inexperienced (we had about 3) walk away feeling like they learned a lot and had a blast -is amazing. They kept us laughing and also kept us on our toes by introducing us to “The Cavelier Flush”. What a rush. Next time I am in RVA I will be bringing some buddies here to have a great time with them.
